RheoFalt HP-AM
A natural resin additive used to recycle asphalt up to 100%. By using this resin it is possible to rejuvenate asphalt to its original properties without any compromise concerning quality. Reduction in costs and use of raw materials.
Dosing
RheoFalt HP-AM is a pure liquid resin additive which is easy to dose at normal ambient temperatures. When the climate is colder, dosing can be promoted by heating it up to 15-20 degrees Celsius. It can be added directly into the pug mill of the asphalt plant or added to the fresh bitumen. When it is added into the RAP it should be added at the end of the output, not before entering the heating drum.
Stockage
RheoFalt HP-AM can be delivered in IBC containers or in bulk.
Dosing quantity
The desired amount of RheoFalt HP-AM is an outcome of a logarithmic penetration formula. By using our special ‘log pen’ formula it is possible to calculate the exact amount of RheoFalt HP-AM needed to obtain the desired penetration in the total asphalt mix. Average use is between 0,1 and 0,4% in an asphalt mix (1-4kg in 1.000kg asphalt).The outcome is verified and tested on its accuracy duration in practice versus calculated ‘log pen’ results. The outcome has an accuracy of between 10 points of penetration.
