RheoFalt HP-AM test results in bitumen
Description of research:
The influence is seen in artificially aged bitumen (50/70 and pmb elastomer 25/55).
Rheofalt HP-AM recovers resin component, restores colloidal equilibrium and isolates polar agglomeration of the asphaltenes. Figures are based on fresh bitumen research (50/70 and PMB25 / 55) to establish an 0-point. Aging is done with RTFOT (75 minutes, 164 C) and PAV (20 hours, 90 C and 2 MPa). Comparing research data is fresh bitumen, aged bitumen and aged bitumen with 5% and 10% Rheofalt HP-AM.

All figures are linked to the results of fresh bitumen and aged bitumen without the addition of Rheofalt HP-AM
With a percentage between 5 and 10 %, Rheofalt HP-AM brings out aged bitumen with an original penetration of 57, aged to 25 and PMB bitumen with a penetration from 38 to 24 (to indicate a direction), back to original fresh bitumen in all tests. Rheofalt HP- AM really restores aged bitumen towards all original aspects of fresh bitumen.
